“Archaeology gives a sense of place. It grounds us within the landscape and every place is unique. … Archaeology can also give an understanding of where we come from.”

From interview with Sarah Marsh, in “Being a Council Archaeologist is ‘Like Being a Detective’”, The Guardian (6 Sep 2013).

ABOUT ME

It was sometime in February of 2014 when I received a call from my father regarding the possibility of handling an estate of an advocational archeologist that consisted of a large number of prehistoric artifacts.  Little did I know that this project would become the basis for developing a passion that has almost 10 years to date.  I have always loved history, especially southwestern history.  Being in the auction business for close to half my life, I have sold everything you can imagine.  I grew up around antiques and collectibles and my father helped me to appreciate the intrinsic historical value in appreciating and caring for relics from the past.  My father took me to all kinds of antique and collectors shows, which also included western art and artifacts.  This was the catalyst that has turned into a lifetime adventure in exploring the our ancient past.
